WHAT IS COUNTRY WEEK?

Country Week is a football competition held in Perth during the September school holidays. Teams from regional towns in WA compete in a weeklong tournament.

I WOULD LIKE TO COACH

If you are interested in coaching a Country Week team, please ensure you are committed to conduct regular training sessions throughout the season, hold a valid Working with Children check (or can obtain one prior to commencement) and can commit to the week away in Perth.

DO I NEED FORMAL COACHING ACCREDITATION?

Formal coaching accreditation is not a pre- requisite. However, you must be able to demonstrate coaching capabilities and an understanding of coaching players in their respective age groups.

Experienced coaches will be on hand to offer support, mentoring and assistance if required.

WHAT DO I INCLUDE IN MY NOMINATION EMAIL?

The AJSA Executive want to know they have the right person to not only represent our association but most importantly support and coach our players.

Please include your reasons for wanting to be considered to coach, your preferred age group and any supporting information which identifies your capabilities as an individual. If you do have formal accreditation please include it in your nomination together with any prior or current coaching experience you may have.
