Country Week Teams Announced

Thank you to everyone for attending our 2023 Country Week Trials.

 

This year the AJSA are looking to take 10 teams accross six competition age groups. Under 11’s Gold and Green, Under 12’s Girls, Under 13’s Gold and Green, Under 14’s Girls, Under 15’s Gold and Green, Under 17’s Girls and Under 17’s Boys.

 

Country Week trials will be run over the months of May and June. The Country Week competition is held in September in Perth. This year the dates for Country Week are Monday September 25th to Friday September 29th. The location is Olympia Kingsway Grounds in Maddeley WA 6065.

Congratulations to all who have been selected to represent our association at Country Week, and to those who were not successful this year, we encourage you to come back again next year. Rest assured our coaches always have a difficult time in deciding who will ‘make the cut’ and it is never an easy decision.

Country Week Information Brochure 2018

Country Week is a competition that is held annually in Perth during the first week of the September/October School Holidays. Generally, each team will play two games per day from Monday through to Thursday, with the finals taking place on the Friday, this being the final day of competition.

*Please note – If you have been unsuccessful in making an AJSA Country Week team this year, we request that you do not make direct contact with other regional associations requesting to be a part of their team. If an association requires additional players from other regional areas, they are to follow procedures put into place by Football West. We assure all of our members that should an association require additional players we will advertise this information for any participants to apply accordingly. We ask that you respect this procedure and once again request that you do not make contact with any other association until requested*
