As you know the AJSA takes 10 teams to perth each year to participate in the Football West Country Week tournament. As you can probably appreciate there is an awful lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to enable this to happen each year. The COVID-19 pandemic has delayed our season and has therefore had a knock on effect with organising Country Week.
Country Week is a great week but we are also aware that many families may not be willing to make the commitment in times of uncertainty.
At this time Football West is still planning to hold the tournament as scheduled, but the AJSA would like to hear from our soccer community families so our executive can make an informed decision on Country Week 2020.
